Cryopad is a cold compress for external local cryotherapy. Its patented precut system allows it to be perfectly adapted to the size and shape of the area to be treated.
A therapeutic method that uses cold in various forms (ice, frozen packs, liquid nitrogen, dry ice, or cryotherapy gas) to reduce inflammation, combat pain, bruising, and certain muscle contractures, or to treat certain dermatoses (skin conditions).
The results are obtained due to the physiological effects of cold: vasoconstriction, that is, reduction in the size of the blood vessels, which leads to a decrease in blood flow; reduced production of chemicals that cause inflammation; cease of the function of the nerve endings responsible for pain and relaxation of the muscles.
